08:30 AM – Pick up from Hambantota Harbor passenger pier in an air-conditioned vehicle and transfer to the starting point of your village expedition. 09:45 AM – Arrive at the starting point and meet your friendly tuk-tuk guide to begin the tour. Start your journey by exploring the bat nesting area, then continue to the scenic local lakes, enjoying a relaxing tuk-tuk ride around the water. Next, visit a clay pot-making house where skilled villagers craft traditional pottery. Learn the intricate art of Sri Lankan clay pottery and try making your own pot. Afterward, visit a local village home to experience rural life firsthand. Observe daily chores, rice fields, and vegetable gardens, and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Ceylon tea prepared by the village women. After a warm cultural exchange and delicious tea, bid farewell to your new friends and return to the starting point. 12:00 PM – Conclude your village exploration by tuk-tuk and transfer back to Hambantota Harbor.
