Explore the small fishing village of Negombo by Tuk Tuk, a very typical vehicle in Asia. During the tour, you may cover Fish Market which is the second largest fish market in Sri Lanka, Dutch Fort which has a fine gateway inscribed with the date 1678, Angurukaaramulla Temple with its 6m-long reclining Buddha, St. Mary’s Church with thunderous ceiling paintings covering the nave and many more attractions by the roads.

What to expect

You will be picked-up from your hotel in Negombo by tuk-tuk and then moved to explore the countryside of there.
08.45
Start your tuk-tuk ride in the town of Negombo. Firstly, you will be taken to a buzzing local fish market, either ‘Lellama’ of Negombo. Thereon you will proceed to visit the Negombo Dutch Fort. You can wander through the fort listening to the stories behind this fort by your very own guide. Afterwards, you will be moved to witness the Dutch canal, which was an important link in the transportation route which supplied the Dutch colonial administration. Continue your Tuk ride to visit Sri Singama Kali Amman Kovil is a major Hindu religious site. Here you will be able to witness and capture the stunning murals and sculptures. Then visit Angurukaramulla Temple which has a history of 300 years. At last you will be transferred to visit St. Mary’s Church, one of the largest cathedrals in Sri Lanka and a quite prominent site which plays a main religious role. Enjoy a sweet king coconut that will refresh your souls during Tuk ride in Negombo.

Now having explored the little Rome to the fullest, you will be moved back to your hotel.
