• On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur guide and transferred to Negombo. (Approx. 30 min. drive). Located near the village of Udunuwara in Ella, Rawana Waterfall is a legendary waterfall that goes back to the era of Ramayana. This beautiful waterfall is located just near the Ella – Yala road. Measuring 25 m in height, this cascading waterfall is glorious to watch during the rainy season. It is told that King Ravana, kidnapped princess Sita and kept her hidden in a cave located behind the waterfall.
Located between Ella and Demodara railway stations, the nine-arch bridge is one of the most iconic bridges in Sri Lanka. This 99 feet high massive bridge has been built entirely of solid rocks, bricks, and cement without using a single piece of steel. When one stands underneath it and looks up there is a beautiful sight of ‘nine skies’ through the nine arches, hence it is also called as “Nine skies bridge” and “The Bridge in the sky”.
