Camping in Yala National Park is one of the best ways to experience the diverse array of wildlife. The lakes, brackish lagoons and jungles there are believed to have the highest density of leopards in the world. You will enjoy the luxury comfort in the campsite on All Inclusive basis with drinks and three game drives including Yala, Bundala and a nature trekking with breakfast by the lake to conclude a memorable experience.
8:00 am: You will be picked up from your hotel in Negombo, Colombo, or Mount Lavinia, Wadduwa, Kalutara, Beruwela, Bentota, Ahungalla, Hikkaduwa, Galle or Unawatuna and then proceed to Yala National Park 1:00 pm: Arrive at the campsite and refresh your selves before your lunch. 1:30 pm: Lunch will be served at camp along with a short introduction by our camp manager on everything you need to know about the campsite.
2:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Evening game drive in our vehicle which is designed for game viewing, photography and comfort. 6:30 pm: Arrive at the campsite and enjoy your private shower, followed by drinks and appetizers around the camp fire or in our lounge tent. 9:00 pm: Dinner will be served in one of many locations available at camp. Dine under the stars for an unforgettable evening meal in the jungle.
Wake up around 5:00 am to freshly brewed Ceylon tea or coffee. Start to trek through thick bushes with a pathway access to a wonderful lake which offers breath-taking views and bird watching opportunities. If you are fortunate enough, you will encounter wildlife like elephants; deers; palm squirrels; wild boars; etc. Also, you will confront both endemic and migratory birds; butterflies and lizards and land monitors slithering around the lake. Capture the splendid views of wildlife and nature to take back home. Don’t forget to ask your naturalist to share his adventures in the wild during the trek. Enjoy breakfast at a private location by a lake whilst listening to the singing of birds and feeling the fresh breeze.
2:30 pm: You will be taken to do a memorable game drive at Bundala National Park that is famous for birds. For keen bird-watchers, the complex wetland system harbours a rich bird life (approximately 197 species), including several species of migratory waterfowl. This has led to the declaration of the park as Sri Lanka 's first ‘Ramsar' wetland – one of great international importance especially for migratory waterfowl. 6:15 pm: You will reach a Private Beach closer to the Yala National Park for an unforgettable evening. Spend couple of hour’s leisure on the beach and enjoy some wine. The beach is located in an exclusively private area and dinner is set up only for your group. 7:00 pm: Enjoy a 4-course BBQ dinner in an illuminated surrounding with bonfire. 8:30 pm: Leave the beach and proceed to your campsite.
Return from the nature trail at 10.00 am and check-into the campsite to refresh your souls before leave. 12:30 pm: Lunch will be served at campsite. 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Guests are welcome to relax and unwind. We suggest an afternoon snooze in one of our hammocks, a chat with the naturalist, or dig into one of the wildlife books from our library.
5:00 am: Rise at dawn to freshly brewed Ceylon tea or coffee. Depart for the morning game drive at 05:30. 9:00 am – 10:00 am: Return from your morning game drive to freshly squeezed juices from Seasonal fruits followed by breakfast.
11:00 am: Check out and leave to your hotel in your next destination ( Free transportation will be provided to Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Colombo, Hambantota, Tangalle, Mirissa, Galle, Hikkaduwa, Bentota and Wadduwa)
