    Changu Narayan Temple

07:30 am: Start a journeytowards Changu Narayan Temple sightseeing. This temple is said to be the oldest Hindu temple still in use in the Kathmandu Valley. Built in the two-tiered pagoda style, the main shrine here is guarded on all sides by pairs of real and mythical beasts – elephants, lions, winged lions and ram-horned griffons – and its roof struts feature some amazingly intricate carvings of Tantric deities. Changu Narayan and its associated buildings were badly affected by the 2015 earthquake however; restoration of the complex is under way.

    Bhaktapur Durbar Square

08:30 am: Drive towards Bhaktapur Durbar Square. 09:00 am: Begin your sightseeing of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur Durbar square is the living representation of how the entire Kathmandu Valley would have looked like during the medieval periods. Its glorious architecture; sky-high temples built in pagoda style- the stairway to the heaven, fine clay pottery, and massive royal courtyards whose existence date back to the 12th century, where devotees, still, celebrate their pre-historic festivals by equal amount of gusto and passion.

02:30 pm: Sightseeing of Swayambhunath Stupa and drive back for Patan Durbar square. Find peace and prayers on the little hillock of Swaymbhunath in the northwest of the Kathmandu Valley. Also known as the "Monkey Temple" among visitors from abroad, Swayambhunath sits atop its hill, overlooking most parts of the valley. This is a good place to catch panoramic views of the city. The site itself has stood as a hallmark of faith and harmony for centuries. The glory of Kathmandu Valley is said to have started from this point.

    Patan Durbar Square

04:30 pm: Visit Patan Durbar square and observe its beauty. Once, an independent and mighty kingdom of the Kathmandu Valley, Patan became a melting pot of two influential religions, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Patan is merely 5 km away from the capital city, Kathmandu, but, despite such proximity, its 'preserved' ancestral uniqueness distinguishes Patan as a different environment to experience in a short travel. Patan is also known as Lalitpur, "City of Beauty", and its unique Durbar Squares, temples, alleys, cuisine, hospitality and religious tolerance justify the pre-historic status of the city. 06:00 pm: Finish the sightseeing and Hotel drop.
