    Journey to Lukla: Flights from Kathmandu or Drive to Manthali/Ramechhap Followed by Trek to Phakding

    Flight Options: Manthali/Ramechhap to Lukla (Peak Season): During peak months (March, April, May, September, October, November), flights to Lukla operate from Manthali/Ramechhap due to airport congestion. Expect a 5-6 hour drive from Kathmandu, departing between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM for a 20-minute flight. Kathmandu to Lukla (Off-Peak Season): In off-peak months (January, February, June, July, August, December), flights typically depart from Kathmandu.
