Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel either in the morning or in the afternoon. We drive into the city centre to visit Jim Thompson’s House, the residence of the American architect-entrepreneur who revived Thailand’s silk industry after WWII. Known as the "Legendary American of Thailand", Thompson mysteriously disappeared in 1967. His traditional teakwood home, built from multiple Thai houses, remains nearly unchanged and showcases authentic Thai architecture. Now a museum, it houses an impressive collection of Asian antiques, art, and rare objects. The surrounding gardens add to the charm of this iconic place. After exploring the house and visiting the gift shop featuring silk items and unique reproductions, your guide will take you back to your hotel.
