For guests booking the tour from Hanoi only: Pick-up is available from hotels in the Old Quarter or at Hanoi Opera House (if staying outside) between 8:00–8:30 AM. The transfer to Ha Long Bay takes approximately 2.5 hours via expressway, including one short rest stop on the way to board Heritage Cruises.
For guests not using our transfer (booking from Ha Long): Please arrive on your own at Lot 28, Tuan Chau Marina by 11:30 AM for check-in (late arrival may result in missing the cruise). At 12:00, enjoy refreshments at the Heritage Cruises Lounge, No.28 Tuan Chau International Marina, before boarding Heritage Cruises.
At 12:30, board Heritage Cruises and enjoy a welcome drink, cruise briefing, safety instructions, and suite check-in, followed by lunch at L’Indochine Restaurant. At 12:40, the cruise sails into the untouched and tranquil limestone landscapes of Lan Ha Bay, a less-traveled route offering spectacular and unspoiled scenery.
From 15:00–15:30, the cruise visits Ba Trai Dao (Three Peach Beaches) or Tra Bau (weather permitting) in Lan Ha Bay, where guests can kayak or swim in crystal-clear waters. Return to Heritage Cruises at 17:30 to relax and enjoy sunset cocktails over the Gulf of Tonkin, followed by afternoon tea and a Vietnamese cooking class at 18:30. Dinner is served at 19:30 in an intimate setting, and the evening continues with drinks, squid fishing, and overnight onboard.
At 06:15, begin the day with a refreshing Vovinam session on the sundeck, followed by a light breakfast at 06:45. At 07:15, take a bamboo boat to explore Dark and Bright Cave, admiring its sparkling stalactites and the serene natural beauty surrounding you with Heritage Cruises
From 9:00–9:30, return to Heritage Cruises for check-out, enjoy a leisurely brunch at 10:00 while cruising back to the mainland, and disembark at Tuan Chau Marina between 11:00–11:15 for your onward journey.
Note: For guests booking the cruise from Ha Long (no transfer included), the 2-day itinerary ends at Tuan Chau Marina between 11:00–11:15 AM after returning to the mainland. Transfer to Hanoi or around Ha Long area is available upon request with Heritage Cruises
For guests booking the cruise from Hanoi only: After disembarking at Tuan Chau Marina, transfer back to Hanoi by limousine/bus via expressway, with drop-off at your hotel in the Old Quarter between 14:15–14:30. End of the 2-day overnight journey with Heritage Cruises
