Often we will take some sweets, pens and notebooks as it is great to be able to give them a small gift. You will find a nice spot for a basic but tasty picnic lunch that we have brought with us. The last 10 km to Coc Toc village is undulating and a little bit of a workout, crossing Coc Toc Stream where the villagers make a living by fishing on Ba Be Lake. On hot days here, it is great to jump into the lake to cool off and take the chance to relax a little in the water. That evening you will enjoy a superb dinner on the river terrace enjoying the superb hospitality of Mr Linh’s family, who are specialists in cooking up local dishes, before spending the night in their deluxe Tay stilt house.
