This 3-day small group tour start from Hanoi with English speaking guide to discover Ba Be National Park, Ba Be is the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam with exceptional biodiversity including a population of langurs, over 200 bird and 350 butterfly species, geological treasures and mature primary limestone forests. 6am - 6.30am: We will pick you up from meeting point and then hit the road north towards Ba Be National Park.

We will take you up through the mountains and tea plantations to Ba Be Lake, an amazing green lake nestled in the midst of a lush natural forest. Next, you will embark on a journey to the Tay village, characterized by its beautiful stilt houses and the warm and welcoming Tay people. These locals earn their livelihood by fishing in the stunning Ba Be Lake and engaging in farming activities. You'll stay with a local family in their homestay and savor their wonderful hospitality. After enjoying a local lunch, we'll proceed to check in at the homestay. In the afternoon, you'll have some leisure time to explore the beautiful surroundings, including a visit to Hua Ma Cave, renowned for its thousands of stalactites and columns. If you wish, you may also opt for a village walk or simply relax, sipping Vietnamese tea in the serene atmosphere while soaking in the picturesque views!

You will have the opportunity to explore the diverse and stunning landscapes of Ba Be National Park. Your local guide will accompany you to visit the villages where the local people earn their livelihood through fishing in the lake and mountains. Afterward, you will return to your homestay.

After breakfast, you will walk to the harbor, where you will embark on a boat trip around Ba Be Lake, a million years old. Onboard, you can relax, spot wildlife, or take a refreshing swim in the cool and clean waters if you wish to cool off. As you cruise along the Nang River, you'll be able to admire the scenic landscape of the surrounding karsts adorned with patches of wild vegetation and home to various fascinating creatures. Keep an eye out for the vibrant butterflies that gracefully flutter across the sky, or listen to the soothing songs of the many bird species inhabiting the park. After: Lunch and take a bus back to Hanoi !
