8:30 AM – Departure from Ho Chi Minh City Begin your journey to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network spanning over 220km, known for its role during the Vietnam War. En route, enjoy scenic views of the countryside with water buffalo and ducks along the rivers. In My Tho, enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Mekong River, passing fish cages and floating houses. Drift into a peaceful canal and arrive at Coconut Island in Ben Tre, where you’ll stroll through a village, visit a local home, savor tropical fruits, and taste honey tea and wine while enjoying traditional Vietnamese music. Stop at a coconut candy workshop to learn the craft of candy-making and admire unique coconut-based handicrafts. Lunch features Vietnamese specialties at a local restaurant under the shade of trees.
