Bagan is internationally famous for its collection of more than 2,000 religious monuments dotted across an expansive dusty plain backing onto the Ayeyarwady River. It is a memorable place to visit and E-bikes are probably the best way to reach the smallest temples is to hop on an electric scooter and enjoy the freedom of visiting them all, even the remotest. The electric scooter, a battery-powered scooter that is quiet and non-polluting, weaves easily around the temple and on the narrow dirt tracks.

What to expect

The guide will arrive to your hotel (either in Old Bagan or New Bagan) along with E-bike in the morning and you can start your full day temple excursion with electric bike.  

Enjoy a full-day excursion by e-bike, battery-powered scooters that are a quiet, non-polluting way to explore the plains of Bagan. No pedaling is required which makes this adventure less strenuous than a regular biking tour yet still with the freedom to enjoy the sites at a slower pace.  

After getting accustom to the bikes accelerator and brakes, set off through the temple plains. The day will be spent weaving in and out of villages, visiting a historic monuments and stopping as often as you like for photos or to chat with friendly locals. 

A midday break will be made for lunch and a short rest.  

In the afternoon, zip around the plains more and catch sunset from a viewpoint on the way back to hotel.   After the full day excursion, bike back to your hotel by ending the tour.
