Today we depart for the Makkah Ziarah tour, beginning with Jabal Al Rahmah (Mount Arafat), where Prophet Muhammad (SAW) delivered his final sermon during Hajj. Pilgrims gather here on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah for prayer and forgiveness. We then pass through Mina, the world’s largest tented city, where pilgrims stay during Hajj and where Prophet Ibrahim was commanded to sacrifice his son Ismail. Next is Jabal Al Nour (Mount Hira), home to the Cave of Hira, where the first revelation of the Holy Quran was received in 610 CE. The tour continues through Muzdalifah, the Jamarat area, and visits Masjid Al-Jinn, Masjid Al-Fath, and Masjid Al-Khaif. We also view Jabal Al-Thawr, where the Prophet sought refuge, before a brief stop at the old cemeteries and return to the hotel.
