    Civita di Bagnoregio is an impossibly picturesque, postcard perfect town. This town has a maximum of 100 inhabitants, is totally car-free, and can only be accessed by a narrow, winding bridge, which leads you across Umbria’s green, rolling plains. There’s nowhere in the world quite like Civitia di Bagnoregio; the town sits like a mushroom atop a tuff cliff – part of its seem to protrude off the sides; many of the old settlements have fallen into the valley below. It’s about the size of a postage stamp, but that doesn’t take away from Civita di Bagnoregio ‘s magical quality. Walk around and breath in the clean air of this incomparable town, in an unmatchable environment.

    Orvieto

    Just looking at Orvieto from afar is a sheer delight – this beautiful town stretches like a cat atop a tuff cliff, with the Tuscan plains rolling below. However, on this day trip, you’ll get to explore it! Our expert guide will lead you across winding cobbled streets, decked with old-fashioned laterns toward Orvieto’s Duomo. In the 13th century, five Popes lived in Orvieto, and the stunning Cathedral is a testament to the power of this small city here. The beautiful Duomo stands in an Italian gothic style, in glimmering white, adorned in gold mosaics – a real site to behold. If you want, you can elect to visit St. Patrick’s Well. This marvelous feat of architecture looks like the Colosseum turned inside out – columns and arches line a central drop, which appears very deep to a casual observer.
