From the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe, with a short ride with your private driver and private guide you will reach one of the best town of the entire Romagna. A beautiful medieval city, called Santarcangelo. After a stop for a good coffee or cappuccino and a light snack (all included), we will go to visit a suggestive and hidden place. Santarcangelo hides a mysterious, underground history. The whole hill, it is built on, is criss-crossed by an intriguing, complex network of tunnels, caves and wells forming a kind of “underground” city beneath the main town, made up of at least 160 “grottoes” (caves). You can enjoy a guided tour inside the monumental public cave as you journey through a labyrinth, to discover ancient legends and exciting stories. Allow your imagination to take you back in time to the ancient religious rites and solemn processions inside this evocative atmosphere.
