Arrival at airport in Catania. Meeting with driver and transfer to the hotel in Catania, accommodation, welcome cocktail, Dinner at Your own and overnight.
After a buffet breakfast, you can visit the picturesque fish market of Catania (except on Sunday). Stop at the main square with the cathedral and the monument of the elephant, symbol of the city.
Departure to Syracuse (Unesco heritage) : visit the archaeological area “Neapolis” with local guide including the famous Greek theatre, Latomie of the Paradise and the Dyionisios “Ear”. Continue to the island of Ortigia, the small baroque old city centre of Siracusa; visit of the Cathedral, which is built upon the site of the Temple of Minerva, the legendary Arethuse Fountain and the Temple of Apollo

After a buffet breakfast, visit of the enchanting historical centre “Ibla” with local guide with its stunning baroque palaces and churches; together with other seven cities in the Val di Noto, Ragusa is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Then continue to Modica, a jewel of Baroque art in Europe. Modica is a town with an ancient history, nicknamed "the city of 100 churches" and some of its most representative monuments, such as the Cathedral of San Pietro and the Church of San Giorgio, have been proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The tour will then continue with a visit inside the Artisan chocolate workshop; there you will have the chance to discover the techniques leading to the production of an amazing quality of chocolate, "the Modican's chocolate"
After a buffet breakfast, departure to Caltagirone known for the production of artistic ceramics which dominates not only shops (with dishes, vases, etc.). but it embellishes bridges, balustrades, facades and balconies. Everything is born of the wealth of mud in the area. The ease of finding this material drives the creation of terracotta artifacts, especially vases. In this area, the art is as old as the origins of the city. Short stop to admire the famous staircase of Santa Maria
Continue to Piazza Armerina
Continue to Piazza Armerina to visit the worldwide known Villa Romana del Casale with local guide , declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to its well-preserved mosaics depicting mythological themes and hunting scenes.
Departure to Agrigento, a hillside town famous for its magnificent Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; guided tour of the Valley, including the Temple of Concordia, which is in almost perfectly preserved condition, Juno and Heracles.
After a buffet breakfast departure to Palermo, the capital of Sicily. Visit with local guide of the historical centre of the town, one of the largest in Europe; with Martorana Church, Piazza Bellini, Piazza Pretoria, “I Quattro Canti di Città - the four corners”, making a pleasant walking along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the ancient “Cassaro”, Piazza Bologni the Cathedral (internal visit) and the outside of Norman Palace.
After a buffet breakfast, departure to Monreale, situated on a hill at few kms far from Palermo in panoramic position.
Visit with local guide of the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful monuments of the world with its Moorish architecture, housing very fine mosaics representing a complete cycle of the Old and New Testaments, and the Benedictine Cloister in Arab-Norman style.
Then departure to Cefalù a former fishing village, now a charming coastal town.
Enjoy a walk to the city centre and down main street to reach the Arab-Norman Cathedral and the medieval wash-house built in the rock.
Proceed to Taormina, charming city called "the pearl of the Ionian Sea. At the arrival, accommodation at hotel.
After a buffet breakfast, day at leisure in Taormina for shopping or walking through its tiny streets. Possibility to visit the Greek- Roman Theatre on your own, with its spectacular view of Giardini Naxos and Mount Etna. Or optional excursion (with supplement) to Mount Etna, the highest active Volcano in Europe. Weather conditions permitting, across fascinating landscape with different kind of vegetation, a mixture of citrus groves, vineyards and fruit trees. We will reach a height of 1800 metres to visit the Sylvester Craters where we’ll enjoy a spectacular panorama over the Ionian Sea. Possibility to climb up to 2,500 meters by cable car and further continuation by jeep up to 2.900 meters Free time for lunch. In the afternoon back to Taormina ": Free time for dinner and overnight.
After buffet breakfast transfer to Catania airport. End of the Tour
