Discover the Narusawa Ice Cave – A Natural Monument. Begin your adventure with a journey into the Narusawa Ice Cave, formed over 1,160 years ago by volcanic lava. Inside, the temperature remains a chilling 3 degree Celsius, offering a cool & unique underground experience. As you explore, you'll encounter rugged lava formations & experience a unique underground world. Remember to wear non-slip shoes & protective clothing, as the cave floor can be uneven. Please note that children under 100cm cannot enter for safety reasons. In the case of possibility that Narusawa ice cave is crowded & takes 30-min or more to enter the cave, we may guide you to the "Fugaku Wind Cave".

As a component of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Mount Fuji, this area is celebrated for its breathtaking natural scenery, diverse recreational activities, and ever-changing seasonal beauty.
Fugaku Wind Cave is located in Yamanashi Prefecture at the northern base of Mount Fuji, within the Aokigahara Sea of Trees. This 201-meter-long lava cave, formed by Fuji's volcanic eruptions along with the nearby Narusawa Ice Cave, has been designated as a Natural Monument by the Japanese government. With a constant annual temperature of around 3°C (37°F), the cave remains refreshingly cool even during Japan's hottest summers.
