Utiel-Requena, a protected designation of origin, is located less than 1 hour from Valencia and is an area full of valleys and vineyards in which the main economic engine is wine.
This wine tradition dates back to the 7th century BC and it is one of the oldest in the world.
This excursion will take you fully into the villages par excellence where Valencian wine is produced:
You will discover the wine processes and the vineyard fields, thus being able to taste the grapes from the vine itself during the season (August-September) and in October tread the grapes.

1Murviedro - Bodega Historica
Our first stop will be at the iconic Bodega Histórica Murviedro, situated in the heart of Requena’s picturesque old town. Here, we will explore its mysterious underground cellars, a 12th-century legacy originally used to store wine and food in optimal conditions thanks to their constant temperature. In this fascinating setting, you’ll enjoy a guided tour that includes a tasting of an exquisite wine inside the caves. The experience continues in the main tasting room, where you’ll be able to savour two more wines accompanied by a delicious appetiser. 2Bodega Vera de Estenas
Unique for its setting: you’ll find yourself amidst vineyards of immense beauty that surround an authentic, beautifully preserved old villa. This is Eduardo’s family winery, which has been passed down through the generations. You’ll feel right at home, surrounded by nature and tranquillity. And you’ll be able to taste three of their wines. Made from the region’s native grape variety, Bobal. Details: 1.5-hour tour of the winery tasting of 3 Vera de Estenas wines accompanied by local cheeses and cured meats.
