We recommend this tour for first-time visitors to Miyajima.
You will visit Itsukushima Shrine, registered as a World Cultural Heritage, and other must-see popular spots in Miyajima. A half-day tour is perfect if you are short on time.
You will also visit a hidden museum which introduces Miyajima's history and culture, and a store selling wood carvings, a traditional craft.

Miyajima's symbolic shrine stands in the middle of the sea and the floating torii gate is magnificent. The beautiful view from the red shrine is a masterpiece. ・ Otorii: It is a powerful Otorii towering above the sea. The contrast between the blue sea, blue sky, and vermilion is the beauty of the highlight. The highlight is where you can see a completely different appearance at low tide and high tide. You never know which torii you can see until the day!

A museum that displays various cultural properties related to Miyajima's history and culture, including Kiyomori Taira who built Itsukushima Shrine. The buildings and gardens which are registered as a national tangible cultural property are also worth seeing.

・Toyokuni shrine: A hidden relaxing spot which is the size of nearly 5 tennis courts! The best part is that it remains unfinished which you will see by the bare ceilings and pillars. Enjoy the unique atmosphere and the time slowly passing by.

・Miyajima Omotesando Shopping Street: Miyajima's main street, which is 350m long, leads to Itsukushima shrine. Let's find a gift for yourself which will remind you of Miyajima♪

・Miyajima's carving workshop "Hirokawa": Both a workshop and a store where you can observe Miyajima's traditional craft, Miyajima-Bori (wood carving). - Itsukushima Shrine's Otorii is under repairs (as of September 2019). Please be aware that you may not be able to see it depending on the timing of your tour.
- The travel expense is not included in the tour fee. Please bring extra money to experience this tour to its fullest. (Entrance fees, transportation fees, activity fees, etc. - at least about JPY 1000)
- If you do not arrive at the specified starting place after 60 minutes from the agreed meeting time, the tour will be considered canceled.
