    The Holocaust Memorial - Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

    The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe is located in the middle of Berlin historic center, right next to the Brandenburg Gate It is Germany’s central Holocaust memorial, a place of remembrance and commemoration for the up to six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. It was inaugurated 10 May 2005 by its architect Peter Eisenman. The memorial consists of the Field of Stelae designed as well as the underground Information Centre.
