Ride across to the beautiful Black Isle for coastal roads and a stop at Cromarty Village, explore the historic Fort George and the grounds of Culloden Battlefield, or head south alongside Loch Ness towards Foyers then stop off at Cameron’s Tea Room for a bite to eat and to see some Highland cows.
Our suggested routes are easy to follow and designed to make the most of your eBike, combining scenic back roads, dedicated cycle paths, and must-see Highland landmarks. It’s the perfect way to explore Inverness at your own pace, with the flexibility to create a two-day itinerary that’s just right for you.

On our Cycle Around Inverness – 2-Day Self Guided eBike Tour, you can choose your preferred routes from our pre-planned selection, tailoring the experience to suit your pace and interests. Options include visiting Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns, heading to Cawdor Castle, as well as shorter rides such as Caledonian Canal & River Ness or down to Dores Beach, Loch Ness. Longer options include visiting Loch Ness, Clava Cairns and Culloden all in one day, or you could head down to Foyers and visit Cameron's Tea Room. Other routes include: Abriachan, Fort George, or Chanonry Lighthouse on the Black Isle. All routes are provided on a handy app that you can use on your smartphone, allowing you to ride at your own pace with clear navigation.
