It has a quiet cultural atmosphere that still resonates to this day and you might be inspired to write a best-seller yourself. We will explore the gardens, squares and streets of literary Bloomsbury.
This picturesque square was once the home to the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood as well as having connections to other later important figures such as Beatrix Potter. We will walk through the streets and see sights relating to 1984, Charles Darwin and other big names.

We visit the outside of Charles Dickens house in Bloomsbury. Nearby are the homes of less famous but perhaps even more important writers
The largest and most famous square in Bloomsbury, once the home of Orson Welles amongst others and nearby we will pass a home belonging to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle of Sherlock Holmes fame.
In the narrow streets opposite The British Museum, we will learn about one of the infamous Bloomsbury writers, Aleister Crawley and his belief in the blackest of black magic.
We finish off at the second of our spots relating to the Suffragette movement of votes for women.
