The tour starts in Uyuni, Bolivia. Pick-up is available from your lodging in Uyuni or the bus terminal. The departure is at 10:30 a.m.. Once the group is gathered, you will travel in 4x4 vehicles with a maximum capacity of 6 passengers per car. ⚠️ Note: Be prepared for extreme conditions in the Altiplano: High Altitudes: You will reach elevations of nearly 5,000 meters (16,400 ft) above sea level at the Sol de Mañana geysers. - Cold Temperatures: In winter (June to August), nighttime temperatures can drop between -8°C and -18°C. What to wear: It is recommended to bring warm clothing, gloves, and a hat. Final Details: The final itinerary is confirmed during a briefing provided by the operator one day before the tour begins.

Venture into the world's largest salt flat to visit the "Eyes of the Salt" and a unique Salt Museum constructed entirely out of salt blocks.
Hike to the summit of this rocky island located in the heart of the salt flat to admire ancient giant cacti and petrified coral formations. On the second day, we cross the Chiguana Desert, a high-altitude salt flat surrounded by volcanoes. You will enjoy stunning views of the active Ollagüe Volcano, which still shows volcanic activity from its summit.
Visit a series of breathtaking altiplanic lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota. These beautiful bodies of water serve as essential habitats for Andean flamingos and other wild species native to the region.
Explore the Siloli Desert, considered one of the most arid and surreal landscapes in the world. Here, you will see the famous "Stone Tree," a natural volcanic rock formation shaped by wind erosion over thousands of years.
End the day at the spectacular Laguna Colorada, famous for its intense red waters caused by algae. You can observe hundreds of pink flamingos contrasting with the deep red and white borax deposits. -Entrance fee: 150 Bs (Reserved for Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, paid on site in cash)

They’ll be dropped off in Uyuni town, while the rest of the group begins the return journey to San Pedro de Atacama across the Altiplano. Tour Conclusion (Two Options): -Option 1: Return to Uyuni – Travel back through the Valley of the Rocks, arriving at approximately 3:00 p.m. -Option 2: Transfer to Chile – Bus transfer from Hito Cajón (Bolivia-Chile border) to San Pedro de Atacama, arriving between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Note: Border tax is 17 Bs.
