We are also less than 3 miles from the SpaceX launch pads. It is not uncommon to watch a rocket launch at night from the water, less than 3 miles from the famous Kennedy Space Center launch pads 39A and 39B!
So while you watch the magnificent blues of the water that surrounds you, you might even watch the sky light up from a launch. With or without a launch, the surrounding nature, bioluminescence, and stars make for a really special adventure.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Once you arrive at the end of the gravel road, look for a white van and/or a black box truck that says “Florida-Adventurer” on the side. Please arrive 30 mins prior to your tour time for check-in. You cannot go on tour if you are late for orientation. There are no refunds for this tour.
What to expect
On this tour, you will embark on a 90-minute adventure to see the magnificent bioluminescent plankton. The plankton glows an electric neon blue light when disturbed. There is something truly enchanting about witnessing nature's wonders up close and personal, and the bioluminescent plankton in Florida is no exception.
