4:00 AM: Arrive in Ha Giang City, check in at the hostel, and rest for a few hours. 8:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast at the hostel. 8:30 AM: Meet your guide and start the Ha Giang Loop adventure, passing highlights such as Bac Sum Pass, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, and Can Ty Pass.
Bac Sum Pass, the gateway to Quan Ba in Ha Giang, is famous for its winding roads and breathtaking scenery. From its peak, travelers can enjoy stunning views of the picturesque Quan Ba Valley, making it a perfect stop for adventure and nature lovers.
Quan Ba Heaven Gate, located at 1,500 meters above sea level, is the gateway to the Dong Van Karst Plateau. From here, visitors can admire sweeping views of the lush Quan Ba Valley and the iconic Twin Mountains. Known as the meeting point between heaven and earth, this spot offers both breathtaking scenery and a serene, unforgettable experience.
Can Ty Pass, lying between Quan Ba and Yen Minh at about 1,000 meters above sea level, is famed for its sharp bends and winding roads. From the pass, visitors can take in panoramic views of towering mountains and lush valleys. A favorite for adventure seekers, it’s an unmissable stop on the journey across Ha Giang’s stunning karst plateau.
12:00pm Have lunch in Yen Minh town, then continue our journey through to visit Tham Ma pass and Hmong King Place
Tham Ma Pass is one of the famous mountain passes in Ha Giang, located on the route from Yen Minh to Pho Cao along the Happiness Road. The pass is known for its sharp, winding curves that meander through majestic mountainous landscapes. The name "Tham Ma" originates from the past when locals would test the strength of their horses by having them carry goods across the pass. It is an appealing destination for adventure lovers looking to experience the raw beauty of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
Dinh Vua Mèo, the former residence of King Meo Vuong Chinh Duc in Sa Phin valley, Dong Van, is a unique early 20th-century mansion blending Chinese, French, and H’Mong architecture. Once the power center of the Vuong family, it now stands as a fascinating historical and cultural site, admired for its ancient beauty and heritage.
4:00pm Arrive in Dong Van town. Check in hotel and take a rest 7:00pm Have dinner in Dong Van Town, free walking around Dong Van ancient town
8:00am: Have breakfast in town (on the weekend visit the Dong Van Sunday market) then continue Ma Pi Leng pass.
Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s most stunning mountain passes, lies between Dong Van and Meo Vac at 2,000 meters above sea level. Known for its sharp curves and dramatic views of mountains and the emerald Nho Que River, it’s both a challenge for drivers and a highlight for travelers. Afterward, continue to visit the Nho Que River.
Nho Que River, stretching 46 km through Meo Vac and Dong Van, is famous for its clear waters and stunning limestone mountains. It’s an ideal spot for kayaking, enjoying fresh nature, and experiencing the culture of local ethnic communities.

3:30pm: Finish the motorbike tour, back to hostel in Ha Giang city. Take the bus to Hanoi from Ha Giang city at 7:30pm and arrive at Hanoi Old Quarter at 2:00am (Regular sleeper bus) or from Ha Giang at 9:00pm and arrive at Hanoi at 4:00am (VIP sleeper bus). Drop off at the drop off location in Hanoi Old Quarter - No. 1 Cho Gao Street, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi
