20:00: Pick-up by minivan from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to the bus station. 20:30-21:00: The sleeper bus departs from the bus station to Cao Bang City. 5:00: Arrive in Cao Bang City, and sleep in our hostel for a few hours before starting the journey.
7:30-8:00: Have breakfast in Cao Bang City. 8:30: Start the journey to visit: Ma Phuc pass
Ma Phuc Pass, one of Cao Bang’s most iconic routes, winds 3.5 km through limestone mountains at over 700 meters high. Its name, meaning “Kneeling Horse,” comes from a local legend of a horse bowing on the steep slopes. Today, the pass enchants travelers with sweeping views of rugged peaks and valleys, blending natural beauty with the cultural charm of northeastern Vietnam.
Phia Thap Incense Village in Quang Hoa, Cao Bang, is home to the Nung An ethnic group’s centuries-old incense-making craft. Phong Nặm, located in Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang, is a charming commune known for its breathtaking natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Surrounded by limestone mountains, forests, and rivers, Phong Nặm offers a peaceful retreat. Home to the Tay ethnic group, the area preserves traditional customs and rural life, making it an ideal destination for those seeking to experience the authentic beauty and culture of northern Vietnam.
Quay Son River, flowing through Cao Bang Province, is a large and beautiful river known for its clear waters that meander through fields, valleys, and majestic limestone mountains. The river originates in China, flows into Vietnam, and forms part of the border between the two countries. One of the highlights of the river is the Quay Son Waterfall, where the water cascades down in a series of foamy waves, creating a stunning landscape. Quay Son River not only attracts visitors with its natural beauty but also holds significant cultural importance for the local people.
17:00: Check-in at the homestay at Khuoi Ky village- Ban Gioc Waterfall. 19:00: Enjoy dinner and have free time to relax at the homestay.
07:30: Breakfast at the homestay then departure to Nguom Ngao cave

12:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Vinh Quy, then visit the peaceful Vinh Quy Grass Hills. Surrounded by limestone mountains, these vast green hills offer fresh air, stunning scenery, and a tranquil escape into Cao Bang’s untouched beauty.
15:30: Arrive in Cao Bang. Enjoy Tea Break time with a welcome drink and fruits. 16:00: Say goodbye to the journey in Cao Bang City and get ready to go back to Hanoi 23:00: Arrive in Hanoi. The driver will drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter
