  Dune bashing: On arrival, you will have some minutes to relax in the unique environment of the desert while your driver sets the car ready for the action. Then sit tight, fasten your seatbelts, and get ready for the adrenaline rush of your desert ride. The ups and downs over almost vertical slopes and tight bends on huge soft sand dunes will make you think you are on a roller coaster. It’s a feeling that will stay with you for a long time. You can also try the now popular sport of sandboarding.

  Desert nature: The driver will give you multiple options for a photo stop and to experience the desert up close. You will get to know the desert vegetation and wildlife like snakes, raccoons, scorpions, and lizards. The desert is the home of camels and you may get to see some camels or camel camps during the safari.

  Desert camp: Later you will be guided to the desert camp. It is set up in the desert not far from the main roads, but it feels like an oasis, and it will welcome you with hot tea or coffee and dates. You will learn the customs of a real desert camp. There will also be a bar where you will get soft drinks, and the chance of using a sheeshah (waterpipe) or getting a henna tattoo from the talented desert women.

  Camel Ride: Your desert safari will be incomplete if you do not get a close encounter with the animal which is the icon of the desert. You will have a unique experience of knowing the camels up close, and the opportunity to ride a camel for a short time.

  Evening show: Tanoura is a traditional dance full of talent and multi-colored costumes that give the visitors an eye-pleasing sight in the night. You will be amazed by how the dancer balances and swirls, and moves round and round quickly, with flashy costumes that look like a colorful blur. Then the fire dance starts and will leave you in awe with the dancer’s control of the fire. The belly dance follows next and becomes the icing on the cake.

  Food: You and the rest of the guests in the camp will be able to taste not only the local Arabian cuisine, but you will also find an international touch into the mix, like hummus, kebabs, and chicken tikka. The barbecue will have chicken, beef, and lamb as meats, and also fish, rice, and bread with different curry items and a good variety of salads for those who prefer a vegetarian choice.
