Malahide is a picturesque suburban village in Dublin City located in County Fingal, Ireland. The village is situated 16 kilometres north of Dublin City, on the train line to Belfast. It lies between Swords and Portmarnock. It is situated on an estuary, on the opposite side of the estuary from Donabate.
The castle belonged to the Talbot family from 1185 to 1976, a total of 791 years with the exception of the period of Oliver Cromwell between 1649 and 1660. The visit will be from the outside.
Howth Castle is located near the village of Howth in County Fingal in Ireland. It is the ancestral home of the St. Lawrence dynasty, which ended in 1909 with the death of the last member of the family. The visit will be from the outside.
