    he best Rosé wines are produced in Provence especially the Côtes de Provence and Bandol. Grenache is the main grape base of all the various blends, which include Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan, and Cabernet Sauvignon.  The are 8 Provence appellations:  Cotes de Provence, Coteaux d'Aix en Provence, Coteaux des Baux, Coteaux, Varois, Cassis, Bandol and Palette appellations.
