The tour begins with an introduction to the adventure park and a brief lesson on how to zipline through the canopy. After the safety briefing, you will board a Jungle Bus that takes you to the top, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the tropical canopy, La Fortuna waterfall, Pino Blanco waterfall, and Arenal Volcano.
There is a 15-minute hike accompanied by a highly trained guide. The guide will explain the significance of the area and help you spot any wildlife along the way.
Upon arriving at the ziplines, you will first complete three shorter cables to familiarize yourself with the equipment and the sensation of ziplining. There are a total of 12 ziplines, extending over 3.5 kilometers. The longest cable measures 980 meters and spans the famous La Fortuna Waterfall, and two additional cables cross over the Pino Blanco Waterfall. The remaining ziplines take you through the lush layers of the tropical canopy above the La Fortuna River below.

Next, you will take a 20-minute hike through the jungle with a guide who will explain the area's importance and help you discover any wildlife along the way. 12 cables, 3 kilometers in total, one stretching 980 meters over the famous La Fortuna waterfall, another two cables over the Pino Blanco waterfall, and the remaining ziplines through the multiple layers of tropical canopy and rivers below. The zipline finishes at a Maleku Indian Village, where you will meet real Costa Rican Natives living off the land and learn about Costa Rica’s indigenous groups, past and present.
A self-guided moderate-level hike to the La Fortuna Waterfall is available before or after the zipline at no additional charge. **reservation only, limited availability** Waterfall Hike details: At the beginning of the zipline tour, a marked trail leads to the La Fortuna Waterfall. The hike takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes and includes a suspension bridge that crosses over the Fortuna River. Once you reach the waterfall, you’ll have some time to enjoy the stunning scenery before hiking back to the starting point of the zipline tour.
