Progressing beyond the least explored region in Nepal via an off-the-beaten-path, Upper Mustang Trekking is the one of a kind approach to getting acquainted with the mystical world of the time-honored Buddhist kingdom of Mustang. Since its inception by the warrior Ame Pal in 1380; the walled city of Lo Manthang along with the ancient realm of Upper Mustang was segregated from the rest of the world from the 14th century. Though limited access was granted to the Nepalese, it was still forbidden for outsiders until 1992. Consequently, this territory gained the opportunity to gradually develop and preserve its contrasting culture and classic traditions that share similarities with Tibet.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara - 6-7 hrs Drive by Tourist Bus
Day 04: Flight Pokhara- Jomsom (2743 m), trek to Kagbeni (2810 m) 3 hrs.
Day 05: Kagbeni (2810 m) - Chele (3050 m) - 5/6 hrs- Stay at Mustang Gate Hotel
Day 06: Chele (3050 m) - Syangmochen (3800 m) 5-6 hrs- Stay at Dhaulagiri Guest House
Day 07: Syangmochen (3800 m) - Tsarang (3560 m) 6/7 hrs - Stay at Lumbini Guest House
Day 08: Tsarang (3560 m) - Lo Manthang (3800 m) 4-5 hrs- Stay at Mystique Hotel
Day 09: Lo Manthang (3800 m). Rest day and explore heritage sites.- Stay at Mystique Hotel
Day 10: Day hike to Nyiphu and Garphu monasteries/caves and villages in the north of Lo Manthang.
Day 11: Lo Manthang (3800 m) - Dhakmar (3820 m) via Ghar Gumba (Loghekar Monastery) 6 hrs
Day 12: Dhakmar (3820 m) - Ghiling (3570 m) 6 hrs - Stay at New Kunga Hotel
Day 13: Ghiling (3570 m) - Samar (3550 m) 6 hrs - Stay at Hotel Himali
Day 14: Samar (3550 m) - Kagbeni (2810 m) 6-7 hrs - Nilgiri Hotel
