    Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is one of a tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka. This Buddhist temple is considered as the most venerable Buddhist Temple in the Buddhist world. The temple is located at the center of the hill capital and second largest city of Sri Lanka "Kandy". This is the house to relic of the tooth of the Buddha. A beautiful well preserved Buddhist temple with hundreds of paintings & carvings which are belong to Kandy era. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple.

    Kandy is the capital of Hill country, the second largest city of Sri Lanka and Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple of tooth.
