What makes this experience unique is where you get to paddle — the Jim Neville Marine Preserve and out toward Midnight Pass, one of Siesta Key’s most beautiful natural areas. With a self-guided kayak or paddleboard rental, you’re not locked into a tour schedule, so you can truly take your time and soak it all in.
Some guests love lingering in the mangroves, gliding through calm water and exploring little side areas. Others want more time posted up at the beach shelling, swimming, or just relaxing in the sun. The best part is: it’s completely up to you.
This area is also a favorite for wildlife watching. Keep your eyes open for dolphins cruising through, manatees (seasonal), and plenty of bird life along the shoreline and mangroves. We’ll have your gear ready to go and provide a map plus local tips so you can choose the best route for the day’s conditions and the kind of adventure you’re looking for. Dry bag loans for valuables are often available (when available).

Meeting and pickup
Once at the public beach park, go straight to the stop sign and turn left. The big public boat ramp parking lot will be on your left. Park anywhere near there. We have a big sign and lots of kayaks and paddleboards. Check in with us and we will get you set up and ready to go.
What to expect
We provide top-notch equipment for all ability levels. Choose a single or double kayak, or grab a paddleboard (recommended for paddlers up to 300 lbs). Every rental includes your paddle, life jacket, and a map of the best areas to explore. Need to keep your phone and keys safe? We can also loan a dry bag for your valuables.
We’ll have your gear ready when you arrive—all you have to do is paddle. If you have any questions or concerns, just let us know. We’re here to help you have the best day ever on the water.
