In between the two alpine lakes of Thunersee and Brienzersee, we find the little but beautiful town of Interlaken. Wander through the Garden of Friendship, the first Japanese garden in Switzerland, built as a symbol of friendly relationships between Interlaken and Otsu, in Japan. Have a view towards the mid-19th century Casino Kursaal, one of the most popular and prominent night venues in the city. Pass the Stadthausplatz, a small and pleasant square that was once important for the survival of the city, and where you can see a tall old chapel built with small pebbles of the river.
