As you stroll through the streets of this magnificent town, you will see the Market Square, a lively place that offers a lot of sights, from the red castle in the square to the monument of Georg Friedrich Handel. Learn all about the Church of Our Lady, a late Gothic church famous for several facts: the resting place of Martin Luther's death mask, for being the place of Handels baptism, and for Bach's consecrated church organ. The first stop of our Halle adventure will be at the Market Square, a lively place that offers for those who are interested in Halle’s history a lot of sights, from the red castle in the square to the monument of Georg Friedrich Handel. Our guide will share all details of the square and for the four main towers that belong to the market square.

Your next stop will be at the Church of Our Lady, a late Gothic church famous and unique for many reasons: Luther preached there three times and his death mask is safekept here, for Handels baptism, or for the Johann Sebastian Bach consecrated church organ.
