We start early for those eager to witness the iconic Gallito de la Peña (Andean Cock-of-the-Rock), leaving Quito at 4:00 a.m. to catch its rare display between 7:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. It’s a magical experience that bird enthusiasts can’t miss!
For a broader birdwatching adventure, we depart from Quito at 7:00 a.m., heading straight to Bellavista for a shared guided tour from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. Led by an expert ornithologist, you'll explore the cloud forest and spot hummingbirds, tanagers, and other incredible species.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious local lunch, relax, and soak in the serene surroundings before we start our return at 2:00 p.m., arriving in Quito by 4:30 p.m.
