    San Marco Square, heart of the City and the central area where the Carnival takes place. You will find a huge stage where you will see shows of all kinds, organized by local cultural associations or improvised by street artists. The Venice Carnival is a journey through history, a perfect combination of art, culture, entertainment and trasgression. All tourists are involved in wild dances, sounds and music.The Carnival is organized every year on a single theme that forms the basis of the whole spectacular event and if you are lucky you will attend in Piazza San Marco to the typical "Flight of the Angel", a girl with white clothes will drop from the bell tower symbolizing a dove . Normally it's organized in the morning time. Immersed in this magical atmosphere it’s impossible not to be enchanted by the marvelous buildings that frame this unique Square. The Doge’s Palace, the Basilic and the Correr Museum are the incredible scenery of San Marco Square which at this time of the year takes on greater majesty and beauty.
