What to expect

Available in Tangier are highly rated hands-on Cooking Experiences designed to give guests an opportunity to engage food and culture in life-transforming ways. The setting is a classic historic art-deco apartment located between the city port and Gran Socco. Our team of locals warmly and skillfully leads each visitor through every step in the preparation of a sumptuous Moroccan meal.

Along with preparing your own tagine or couscous, the Experience incorporates Morocco's famed tea ceremony and tea preparation, bread-making, as well as an Experience Leader-guided tour to the public oven, market and spice shops. Things always wind down over a meal prepared by the guests themselves, when memories continue to be made over conversation with the Experience Leader and her Assistants. Storytelling, sharing from the heart, and an honest exchange guaranteed.

You have the choice between three options when it comes to the menu, Chicken Tagine with olives and preserved lemon, Beef Tagine with prunes and almonds and the famous Tangier seafood Tagine. The class is happening everyday twice a day a morning session starting from 11:00AM and an afternoon session starting from 4:00PM
