We generally pick up our guests from the place of accommodation. In case of any road closure heavy traffic, ongoing road construction works etc, we will define certain address as a starting point. Highland Park - the landscaped terraces of which overlook the city and give the best view over the Baku Bay, National Flaq Square and Seaside Boulevard.
State Museum of Azerbaijani Carpet - being brilliantly photogenic, the museum, designed in the form of a huge folded carpet, also houses ceramics, 14th-century metalwork, bronze-age jewellery and the vast collection of 10,000 carpets from the 17th to the 20th century.
The Heydar Aliyev Center, which was designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid and completed in 2012, is rumoured to be one of the most expensive buildings in Europe per square meter. Its rolling, flowing design made waves within architectural, engineering, and design circles garnered it much prestigious and international recognition.

The 4th stop of our travel itinerary is Baku's Old Town, or "Icherisheher". Icherisheher is the pearl of Azerbaijani architecture and culture. There are many galleries and exhibition halls in Icherisheher where you can see and purchase the works of various artists, sculptors and master craftsmen.
The most recognisable monuments of Old City is Palace of the Shirvanshahs, an expansive building that is a testament to Azerbaijan’s impressive architectural heritage. This monument of universal value, one of the pearls of Azerbaijan's architecture is located at the highest point of Icherisheher. Within the Palace complex there are the Divankhana (reception hall), the Tomb of Shah, the residential building of Shirvanshahs, the Tomb of Seyid Yahya Bakuvi, Murad’s Gate (the only monument of the 16th century), the Tomb of Shirvanshahs’ Family, the Shah Mosque and the Palace bath-house.
The most ancient monument of Icherisheher is the Maiden Tower – symbol of the of Baku. Some evidence suggests that the construction of the Tower might have been as early as the 7th-6th centuries BCE.
