Our tour wants to showcase the slower, rural life in the regions of Maramures and Bukovina. We visit local craftsmen, experience food made by small, local guesthouses. Religion is very important here and church building & painting techniques are varied. This is why we visit wooden churches of Maramures as well as Moldavian monasteries in Bukovina. A break from the norm is the Happy Cemetery in Sapanta, but also the egg painting demonstration in Vama. We choose higher than average hotels and guesthouses to ensure you have the comfort you need.
We will write to you the exact pickup time on the day before the tour. If your accommodation in Cluj is not listed, please send its address.
