Our local guide will share Turin’s significance in shaping Italian identity. Known for its chocolate, the city thrived as royal families indulged in tastings. Begin at a historic café with the original Bicerin, a drink enjoyed since the 1800s.
Stroll through some of the landmarks and discover hidden gems. Then, in a cozy setting, start a lesson about chocolate, with insights given by the guide, by tasting exceptional dark chocolate made from just 10% of the world’s finest cocoa. Then, sample traditional chocolates like Gianduiotto and Cremino. The Gianduiotto, named after Gianduja, blends finely ground hazelnuts with chocolate—originating in 19th-century Turin when cocoa was scarce.
All products are 100% organic and “bean to bar.” Pair your chocolates with Barolo Chinato, an aromatized wine from the Barolo area that complements the chocolate flavors perfectly.
We kindly ask people to arrive 10 minutes earlier to the meeting point. Enter the cafè and ask the staff for the food guide. Please let the guide know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.
