This trip sells out every year and is one of the MUST DO experiences in Portland! Snowshoeing in the moonlight is a magical experience, perfect for date night, girl’s night out, office Christmas parties, or just a fun trip with family and friends! This is a trip designed for anyone, young or old, any fitness level.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We meet at the Rare Earth Adventures office. Please note, our office entrance is located below and behind the storefronts in downtown Troutdale. Turn left off the main street immediately after the "Gateway to the Gorge" arch to access the lower parking lot.
What to expect
Hike for an hour up to a spectacular view of Mt Hood (when cloud cover and weather allow), where we break for hot drinks and snacks. The hike will be 2-3 miles roundtrip, depending on group pace. This adventure includes transportation to and from the trailhead (a little more than an hour each way).
