The Sforza Castle was built in the 15th century by Francesco Sforza, the Duke of Milan, as residence for his family. The castle is surrounded by medieval walls in defence against attacks of enemies. Today the castle houses many art galleries and museums and the courtyards are a perfect place where you can take long walks.
