    Day 1

    Drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola (870 m/2854 ft) (160km/99.4mi) 10 – 12 hrs, Tea House Accommodation.

    After breakfast in Kathmandu, you will start the scenic journey to Gorkha by local regular bus.

    After traveling for about 5 hours on the Prithvi Highway along the Trisuli River, you will reach Furke Khola. From here you will head towards Dhadingbesi highway and reach Dhadingbesi market in 1 hour. After 10-15 minutes uphill from Dhading Besi, you will stop for lunch. Further, traveling through Arughat, Sotikhola for another 4 hours, you will reach the first day’s destination “Machakhola” and spend the night there.

    Trek from Maccha Khola to Jagat (1300 m/ 4265 ft) (22km/13.7mi) 7 – 8 hrs, Tea House Accommodation.

    Todays trek starts after the breakfast at Machhakhola and head to the tiny village of Khorla Bensi. Shortly after, you will arrive at Tatopani and the trails start to go ups and downs from here. Eventually, you cross the Budhi Gandaki on a suspension bridge. The hike today sets off through the harsh terrains and is challenging at some places. You will hike a short section of forest before arriving at a hotel at Dovan. You will enjoy lunch at Dovan with an impressive view of Budhi Gandaki river. After Dovan, we will trek to Yaru Phat via Thulo Dhunga. Yaru Phat is considered to be one of the important places throughout this trek. Here you can see the panoramic view of Budhi Gandaki River along with Cantilever bridge and Punngpu waterfall. Again the hike leads to a steep climb over a ridge of the Budhi Gandaki. Finally you arrive at the village of Jagat in the evening. You rest for the night at Jagat (1410m) after 6-7 hours of hike.

    Trek from Jagat to Deng (1860 m /6102 ft) (20km/12.4mi) 6- 7 hrs, Tea House Accommodation

    The breakfast is served early in the morning at the teahouse. After crossing the Jagat Checkpoint, our trek begins with a memorizing scene of a waterfall and steep climb over a ridge to salleri and will shortly descend to Sirdibas. You will cross Gandaki River again and hike towards Gatte Khola through grassy land slopes. The trail continues to lead upstream towards a long suspension bridge in Philim. You will continue to hike north on a fairly level trail to Ekle Bhatti. You will witness an impressive view of Shringi Himal 7187m through your trek. To avoid difficult valley trains, you will cross the river three times to reach the village of Deng 1860m You will arrive at the village of Deng after 6-7 hours of a hike from Jagat. You will stay for the night in Deng.

    Trek from Deng to Namrung (2660 m /8727 ft) (19.5km/12.1mi) 6 – 7 hrs, Tea House Accommodation.

    You will start the trek early in the morning and cross the Budhi Gandaki. The hike leads to a trail from Bihi and then you will head west up the Budhi Gandaki valley. You will hike on a steep and impressive valley. The trail continues to the village of Rana, you will witness Mani stones in the village. After 4 hours of hike, you will arrive at Ghap and you will commence lunch at the resting place. You will continue the route towards and through the Prok village. The trail ahead passes through beautiful gompas. You will hike through the dense forest and cross thundering streams down a narrow gorge. Afterwards, the hike is a pleasant walk through a less dense forest. You will spend 6-7 hours hiking the entire day before you reach Namrung. Shortly, the pleasant hike leads to a steep climb and you will finally arrive at Namrung. You can enjoy a decent meal at a lodge in Namrung (2650m) and spend the night at the lodge.

    Trek from Namrung to Shyala (3500 m/11,482 ft) (14km/10.9mi) 6 – 7 hrs, Tea House Accommodation.

    After breakfast in the morning, you will cross Namrung Checkpost and reach Bhanjam, a beautiful village on Trek route through Pine Forest. After climbing steeply for about 1 hour, you will come across a big Lhi monastery. From here you can see the view of Himalchuli, Ganesh Himal and many other mountain ranges. The next journey will reach Shyala by observing the monasteries, Mani Stones, Yaks etc. in Sho village and Lho village respectively. The view of Manaslu, Manaslu North, Nike Peak etc. on the way will make you forget your tiredness. After witnessing all the beautiful scenes you will reach to Shyala in the evening and stay for the night at tea house.

    Trek to Samagaun(3500m/11482) Via Pung Gyen Gompa (3530 m/11,578 ft) (10km/6.2mi) (5 – 6 hrs), Tea House Accommodation.

    During the sunrise from Shyala, the beautiful view of the top of Manaslu mountain changing to golden color will create a unforgettable memory for a lifetime. After having breakfast, you will head towards Pungyen Gompa for side trip before reaching Sama Gaun. After an hour’s steep climb from Syala, the mostly flat road and the view of different mountains visible on the way and the proximity of Pungyen Glacier will make the journey feel even easier. After a full morning trek, you will arrive at Pungyen Gompa. This Gompa (monastery) is considered as the oldest monastery in Manaslu region. From here you will have an amazing view of Manaslu, Himalchuli and Ngadi Chuli.

    After side trip at Pungyen Gompa, you will walk down for 2-3 hours to reach today’s destination, Sama Gaon. You will spend overnight here in Tea House.

    Rest day at Samagaun  and visit Manaslu Base Camp (4800 m/15,748 ft) (5.1km/3.16mi) 6 – 7 hrs, Tea House Accommodation.

    After breakfast you will proceed towards Manaslu Basecamp. After the first 1 hour walking on a almost flat way looking at the view of Manaslu Himal, the steep climb will start. After about 3 hours of steep climb, you will reach Manaslu base camp. Today’s trekking schedule may vary depending on the activities you do on the way. Because the views of the mountains like Pangpoche, Manaslu, Manaslu North, Nike Peak seen in every step, make most of the tourists stop and watch. Finally you will reach to your dream destination “Manaslu Base Camp”. After Spending some memorable moments there, you will return back to Sama Gaun. you will have your lunch here and visit the village to see the culture and lifestyle of the local Tibetan people. You will stay overnight in the same hotel.

    Today your journey will be from Samgaun to Samda. After having breakfast in the early morning, you will head towards the beautiful Birendra Lake via a very old monastery(Samagaun) and a Tibetan cultural library.

    After visiting Birendra Lake you will descend to the main root for Samdo. Kermo Kharka found on the way to samdo is specially famous for panoramic view of Mount Manaslu and Pangpoche. Kyonggmo Kharka is reached after about 2 hours of walking along the wide bank of Budhigandaki river and Mani Stones’ wall from Kermo Kharka. After short walk from Kyonggmo Kharka you will get a wooden bridge over Budhigandaki river. Right after crossing the bridge, the short and steep climb will start. On the top of the hill with Steep path you will reach today’s destination, Samdo Village. Samdo village is situated in the highest altitude in Gorkha District. You will take your lunch here and walk up to Samdo view point for acclimatization, return back to Samdo village and stay overnight.

    Rest Day in Samdo (3860 m/12,661 ft), visit Tibetan Border (6 – 7 hrs)(5000 m/ 16404 ft)(13km/8mi).

    Today’s adventure will start with the mesmerizing close view of Mount Samdo (6,3635m), Gyala Peak(5,973 m) and other beautiful landscape of Larkya Bazar. 4-5 hours of ascending from Samdo will leads you to the Tibetan border(4,998m) gaining elevation of 1148m. This border is also knon as Layung La and Rui La. On the way to the border you can experince trail of Mani Stones and different land structures.

    Trek from Samdo  to  Dharamsala(Larkya B. C.) (4460 m/14,632 ft) (11.7km/7.2mi) 4- 5 hrs, Tea House Accommodation.

    Today, you will hike for 4-5 hours to Dharamsala/Larkya B.C. You will start your descent, past the northern valley and cross the Budhi Gandaki. The trail follows the grassy terrains with juniper above the Syacha Khola Valley. You will witness the Larkya Glacier as you cross two streams along the trail. The trek continues beyond the Larkya La Phedi. Soon, you will climb through steep terrain and arrive at the tea house in Dharamsala (4450 m). Dharamsala is not a lodge but a shelter for travelers. It is a short hike today which leaves you plenty of time to relax in the afternoon. You will spend the night in Dharamshala.

    Trek from Dharamsala  to Bimthang (3590m / 117776 ft) via  Larke la pass (5106 m / 16751 ft) (24km/14.9mi) (8–9 hrs)

    The trek begins early in the morning and you start to hike steep trails to Larkya La Pass. The trail ahead is windy(sometimes) and rocky but the morning views of Larke peak (6249m) is spectacular. The trek can be very cold, especially if windy. The snowfall and ice conditions will certainly slow down the pace of your trek. You will walk across moraines of the Larkya Glaciers. Below the trail lies a magnificent basin with ice walls. After ascending for 4-5 hours you will reach to the highest altitude of the trek, Larke La Pass. This pass makes the the trek worthy because the mountains in all sides (3600) can be seen from here.

    After spending some beautiful moments at the top of the trek, you will walk down to Bimthang by a steep descent. On the way down to Phedi, the views of Nimjung, Himlung and Kanguru mountains along with Pongkar Glacier, Suti Glacier and Pongkar Lake might reduce your tiredness. Today’s trek from Dharamsala to Bimthang is certainly longer than the previous days in the trek. It will take approximately 8-9 hours to reach Bimthang from Dharamsala. Right before reaching Bimthang, you will walk across flat grasslands shrouded in mist. You will spend the night in Bimthang (3700m).

    Trek from Bimthang  to  Tilche (2300 m/ 7544 ft) (16km/9.9mi) 4-5 hrs, Tea House Accommodation.

    You will enjoy breakfast early in the morning with splendid views of Mt.Manaslu. The Trek from Bhimthang to Tilche takes about 6-7 hours. You will start your trek for today with a descent. Shortly after, you will cross a bridge over Dudh Khola and continue via Chauli Kharka and reach surki Khola(2700m). From here you will continue walking until you reach the village of Gowa. You will stay overnight at Tilche village (2250m).

    Trek from Tilije  to Besisahar(825 m / 2706 ft) (34.8km/21.6mi) via  Dharapani (3–4 hours) (1860 m/6102 ft) (8km/4.9mi)

    After an early morning breakfast, you will hike through the farmlands of Tilche, The trek heads towards the crossing to the east bank of the river and descends gradually towards the Marsyangdi Valley. You will walk through the scrub forest and eventually head towards Thonje (1,965m/6,447ft). The trek continues along the main Annapurna Circuit route to Dharapani. You will enjoy a perfect lunch at dharapani.

    From Dharapani you will hop on a sharing jeep to Besisahar. The entire trip takes around 3-4 hours. You will witness beautiful waterfalls and lush landscapes during the road drive to Besisahar. Upon your arrival at Besisahar, you will check in a lodge and enjoy a decent meal. You will spend the night at a lodge in Besisahar (825m).

    Kathmandu

    You will enjoy a crisp view of hills and mountains on your drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu by sharing regular minibus. The drive will follow the banks of the Marsyangdi and Trishuli rivers. You can book a ticket for yourself on a Microbus service from Besisahar to Kathmandu until 2 p.m. Regardless, you always have an option to take a bus ride after you enjoy breakfast at 7 am. It takes about 5-6 hours to reach Kathmandu from Besisahar. Upon your arrival at Balaju Bus park, you will drive back to the Hotel in Kathmandu. You can spend it on leisure or go last minute shopping. You will celebrate the successful completion of your trekking expedition with a pleasant farewell dinner with your trekking team. We will also provide you the “certificate of successful ascent” after completing the trek.
