Tanzania is a safari paradise with stunning scenery, abundant wildlife, and diverse cultures. This tour will take you to Ngorongoro Crater, the Garden of Eden of Africa. Ngorongoro Crater has a glorious landscape that's teeming with about 25,000 animals including ungulates, four of the Big Five, and other large mammals. It is also one of the best places to spot critically endangered animals like black rhinos, golden cats, and wild hunting dogs.
The Serengeti is considered the best African safari park to see the Big Five since it is so much easier to observe them than in any other African park. The variety of its ecosystems is what makes this area such a hospitable home to so many different species of wildlife.
We work 24 hours, we pick and drop-off our clients at Kilimanjaro International Airport day and night.
You will be picked up from Keys hotel in Moshi town, and from there we drive to Serengeti National Park. Your first game drive follows in the afternoon. Resident wildlife of the Serengeti National Park are Rhinoceros, Buffalo, Elephants, long-neck giraffes, and many other ungulates (hooved animals) such as the eland, zebra, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant's gazelle, Lions are everywhere and are often found on a kill. Cheetahs are very common on the south-eastern plains, while leopards can typically be found lazing in one of the big trees along the Seronera River. Hyenas are common, wild dogs, unfortunately, are rare
Ngorongoro Conservation Area is in northern Tanzania. It’s home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and “big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals. Hominin fossils found in the Olduvai Gorge date back millions of years.
After breakfast, leave for a full day game drive with packed lunches. The Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometers in size. Join us on a safari and explore the endless Serengeti plains dotted with trees and kopjes from which majestic lions control their kingdom; gaze upon the Great Migration in awe or find an elusive leopard in a riverine forest. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.
We rise early and drive to Ngorongoro for the crater tour. We head back to Moshi town late afternoon and arrive in the evening where you will be dropped off at Keys Hotel. Or drive direct to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
