Visit famous landmarks in the historic Old town and walk through the Spa quarter. Get to see the Collegiate church and the Trinkhalle and other famous sights such as the Kurhaus, Casino and the Theater.
At the staircase of the Kurhaus, your tour guide shall be waiting with a Signboard.
Start your tour at the Parish Stiftskirche also known as the Collegiate Church. You will notice the church tower built in Romanesque style, the church dates back to the 15th century. Inside the church, you will find a stone cross of Nikolaus Gerhaert von Leyden and two organs.
Next, you will visit the Trinkhalle which was constructed in the mid 19th century. Here you will especially see its admirable frontage made of corinthian style pillars and murals. It was established as a place where the guests could drink the waters of the thermal springs.
Continue your stroll and get to see the Kurhaus, an impressive cultural landmark with inspiring architecture.
Walk by the place where the night shimmers and shines, the Baden-Baden Casino which is Germany’s oldest casino.
You will then visit the Theater featuring belle-epoch exteriors similar to the Paris opera. and finally explore the Spa quarter which was built near the thermal springs after the gambling ban.
