You will travel along the famous "Black Head" coastal loop, a road that hugs the edge of Europe. On your left, the scenery rises into the "Lunar Landscape" of the Burren—a vast, glaciated pavement of pale grey limestone that looks less like Ireland and more like the surface of the moon. On your right, the wild Atlantic Ocean stretches endlessly, offering uninterrupted views of Galway Bay and the distant Aran Islands. Keep your cameras ready for the "Baby Cliffs"—miniature sheer drops that act as a dramatic prelude to the Cliffs of Moher. In spring and summer, watch the grey rock explode with color; this is the only place on earth where Arctic, Alpine, and Mediterranean wildflowers grow side-by-side in the same crevices.

    Departing Cliffs of Moher around 11:00 we'll arrive in the tiny village of Liscannor at 11:15. Quality local eateries offer a range of delicious local fare to choose from for your mid morning break. You might feel in the mood of Irish breakfast tea and scones or maybe a sandwich or seafood chowder and soda bread? There are always a wide range of options available so you can refuel ahead of your afternoon in Galway or further onward travel. Depart Liscannor at 12:00

    Your driver will drop you back to Galway Coach Station (the same place you were collected from) at 13:30. You are just minutes away from the bustling atmosphere of downtown Galway.
