Damajagua Waterfalls (Pass by)
Once you arrive at the Damajagua base camp, you'll have time to relax and use the facilities before gearing up with a helmet, life jacket, and a bottle of water, your adventure begins with a scenic uphill hike lasting about 45 minutes to the first waterfall. The excitement builds as you encounter cascading waterfalls, natural slides, and jumps—some up to 25 feet! Don’t worry, though—alternative paths are available for anyone who prefers to walk around the highest jumps. Official park guides are stationed at each fall, ensuring your safety and enhancing your experience. Your return journey is just as thrilling! Leap into sparkling natural pools and slide down rock formations sculpted by centuries of rushing water. It’s an exhilarating way to descend back to base camp! As you head back, the celebration continues with lively Dominican music, refreshing rum punch, and fresh fruit provided by your guide.
