The meeting point for this tour in Bukhara is at the statue of Khoja Naseriddin near Lyabi Haus Pool. Please look for our driver holding a sign with your tour name. The tour starts at 9 AM however, please arrive at the meeting point 20 minutes prior departure.
The tour ends with a drop-off at the parking lot of Gur Emir Mausoleum in Samarkand.
Depart from Bukhara at 9:00 AM and travel through Nurata to the yurt camp in the Kyzylkum Desert (Sputnik or Safari Yurt Camp). On the way, stop in Nurata to see the ruins of Alexander the Great’s fortress, the sacred spring, and other local sights. Then continue to Lake Aydarkul for lunch at a lakeside restaurant. If the weather allows, you can enjoy a walk along the shore or even go for a swim. After lunch, head to the yurt camp, settle into your yurt, and take a short camel ride or a walk in the dunes. In the evening, relax by the campfire and enjoy live traditional music performed by local bards.
After breakfast, depart for Samarkand — the drive takes approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival, guests will be dropped off at a designated meeting point. However, private groups or those with fewer than 6 participants will enjoy direct drop-off at their hotel for added comfort. For those interested, a 1-hour camel ride through the desert can be arranged before departure, available for an additional €20 per person.
