Ayutthaya is a city in Thailand, about 80 kilometers north of Bangkok. It was capital of the Kingdom of Siam, and a prosperous international trading port, from 1350 until razed by the Burmese in 1767. The ruins of the old city now form the Ayutthaya Historical Park, an archaeological site that contains palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries and statues.

Depart Bangkok or Khao Yai and experience the colors of Nakhon Nayok local market. Sample authentic produce and select ingredients for your cooking class. Purchase seasonal fruits and chat with the merchants. Then, learn how to cook 5 classic dishes, such as som tam (green papaya salad). Sample the fruits of your labor with a delicious meal. Travel to Khao Yai National Park and hike to Heaw Narok Waterfall for breathtaking views. Learn more about the park’s history at the visitor center before heading to Thanarat Road for a panoramic view of the park.
